WordPress Designer / WordPress Developer
For the past 10 years WordPress has been my web design platform of choice. Below are a few examples of how I’ve used WordPress for my employers and clients.
2nd Energy is a solar panel installation company that was rebranded into Value Solar Power. As part of their rebranding, I was task with creating a WordPress site that match with their new direction and had multiple call-to-actions.
Human Interfaces hired me to implement key changes to their WordPress website as a result of resistance from the original design firm. As a UX research company, they were very particular about the information being presented on their site and the UI components used to deliver that information. Staying within their guidelines, I was able to complete their task and successfully present new UI components.
When I originally pitched an app idea to Brittany Renner’s management team they had technical concerns surrounding content updates. I eliminated their concerns by re-pitching the app as a hybrid app with a WordPress backend to manage the updates. I simplified the UI of a StudioPress responsive template to give the site a better user experience as a standalone app. Later I intergraded a shopping cart and member based content-dripping into the WordPress backend.
Rhonda’s Cooking wanted a new website that was clean, responsive and had the same creative direction as their award winning cookbook. I was also tasked with finding a way for Rhonda, the CEO, to add new posts via Instagram so she doesn’t to post on two platforms.
Konsole Kingz needed a clean website for their game, Black Spades. The goal of the site was to be a destination for users to select the correct mobile store for their phone and to provide information to users that wanted to learn more about the game. I selected a Studio Press product branding WordPress theme and customized it with Black Spades branding and assets. Above the fold the site acts as a splash page, while below it’s more informative.
