KEY TASK
- Made key creative and production decisions that directly impacted the content and design of the project.
- Produced the project in multiple versions and formats: three print versions and three electronic versions
- Negotiated and obtained a book distribution deal with Emerald Book Company, a subsidiary of GreenLeaf Book Group, LLC.
- Designed the interior layout and custom nutrition comparison chart utilizing Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, respectively.
- Retouched and optimized all photos for two different printing houses using in-depth color correction techniques in Adobe Photoshop CS5.
- Packaged and submitted all required production files to printing houses and iTunes.
- Designed all branded print collateral for promotion and events: business cards, book marks, flyers, sales sheets, convention signage and swag items.

OVERVIEW
So, What Can I Eat Now?! is a healthy cookbook that contains tasty recipes that are 100% dairy-free, soy-free, egg-free, gluten (wheat)-free and artificial ingredients-free written by Rhonda Peters. The book was awarded the Arizona Book Publisher Glyph Award for the “Best Interior Design”, “Best First Book by a New Publisher”, “Best Cookbook”, and “Best Book in Health/Wellness/Nutrition.”
Lead the art direction of the front cover design. Made the final decisions on the cover’s typeface, six (6) images, colors and floral motif .
Designed the layout for the book’s recipes using the longest recipe. Combined elements of a recipe, custom nutrition facts, recipe story and tidbits in a clean presentable manner.
Converted a recipe from the original book into an iBook.
Created a new version of the project with out the recipes that include meat.
Directed, produced and captured this live action demonstration of Rhonda’s gumbo recipe.
Sales sheet mailed and/or delivered to retail outlets and distributors.
